So many things to do and the deadline is only little more than a week! As the holidays inch closer in everyone’s minds, so does the to-do list grow dauntingly in urgency. It has been a non-stop marathon to finish the last assignments of the term, prepare for festive events, fight through symptoms of sickness, bring out winter clothes and other decorum, and pick out gifts appropriate to everyone. Overall it takes such great effort to just maintain focus as the days get shorter and impatience fills the air for likely the most wonderful time of the year.
And of course there is the end of the world to consider, that arrives even earlier than the holiday break we have all been looking forward to. But until then there is just one thing to do, get busy and beat the rush so we can get to the relaxing. Hot cocoa, books, unlikely but hopefully snow, Christmas specials, family friend parties, here we come!
